Vocalise is a convincing moment in Lise's eclectic journey. In recent years, she has sung in Canada, closing the Quebec City Festival on the big stage with fellow musicians of the Ville Emard Blues Band. The show was broadcasted on CBC throughout the country. Then Montrealers could hear her with Toubabou at the Kola Note as two of their records were re-released. In the last three years a few compositions were sampled, two by Daniel Bélanger. In April 2005, Lise was on the Roulette Intermedium concert roster in New York's Soho. She also recorded new music "Yuko's Cycle" by Vito Ricci, poems by Steve Dalachinsky released in 2000.

Vocalise proposes some daring improvisations with a penetrating voice in top form.

Lise's accomplices all have careers of their own. Vito Ricci on some compositions and guitar, Peter Zummo on trombone, Byard Lancaster on flute, sax and bass clarinet, "Blue" Gene Tyranny on piano, Rashied Ali on Bata drum and bass kalimba.
